It's Easy to Open a Sears Easy Payment Account. Just look through this catalog
and your other current Sears catalogs; select the items you want and list them on one of our
convenient order blanks. Be sure that your order totals $20 or more. Then have the head of
your household fill in the answers to the questions on the back of the order blank and sign it.
Enclose check or money order for necessary down payment and mail order to Sears.

Read below how you can add to your Easy Terms Account without paying a penny more a month
Once your credit is established at Sears, and you have an open Easy Payment
Account with us, you can order additional items in amounts of $10 or more.
Your monthly payment now stays the SAME unless the new total balance, is
sufficient to require a larger monthly payment according to table above right.
EXAMPLE-Suppose you are paying S9 a month on your Sears Easy Payment
account and you still owe
$30.
NOW you can order dresses, clothes for the
children, shirts for dad, or whatever you wish, up to S70 (bringing your balance
up to
$100)
without
incr~asing
the size of your monthly payment. Of course,
if your new purchase increases your balance to more than $100, your monthly
payment will be figured according to the table above right.
SEE TABLE ABOVE- What is your present monthly payment? How much do
you still owe? You can figure how much more you can buy without paying a
penny more a month.
IT'S EASY TO SEND "ADD-ON" ORDERS. Just make a list of the things you
need on our handy order blank and write "add to my account." Be sure you
mention your Easy Payment Account Number and sign the agreement on the
back of the order blank. You pay on only one account. The amount of your
new purchase, plus our usual carrying charge; is added to the amount you owe
on your open account. And remember, no down payment is required when
you send add-on orders.
